Virginia trip
We all had a great trip to Norfolk. This was the first time we met our Niece/Cousin Sophia who looks like Uncle Paul with Terry's face. The girls love the baby.

Who is the Mommy?
It is very confusing these days knowing if Adelaide or Ilse need me. There is so much mommy and baby playing that whenever I hear mommy I'm not sure if they are talking to each other or to me.

ilse counts and adelaide swims
It was a big weekend for A and I. Adelaide swam without a floatie suit. The motivation was getting to wear one of Ingrid's bikini's.... much cuter than a bulky speedo floatie suit. She was so excited.
Ilse is talking more and more. Her new phrases are "silly guy", "super papa", "more cup" (more juice), etc... I overheard her counting to herself and she made it up to about 7 then skipped to 9. Her favorite word is still Adelaide. Her little green crocs were missing for 24 hours - I think we're going to need back ups!

Okay... here's my attempt to let everyone know what is going on with Miss A. and Miss I.
We were at the license bureau the other day and she pointed to a Texas license plate and said - "There's Texas - that's where Aunt Ann lives." I was impressed. She must have known Texas from her state puzzle. Ilse likes to steal Texas.
Ilse is learning lots of new words. Here favorites are "Adelaide", "B-Ball" (big ball - every ball is a b-ball), "Cup", "Mommy", "Daddy", "Oh Gosh" etc... She just learned "GG" and "G-Daddy" and she says them very clearly. This morning she picked out her own outfit. She wanted her butterfly skirt. "Flies - mommy!"
